Conditions of access and use
The WCC Library at Bossey Ecumenical Institute, is open to the public free of charge. However , consultation and loan of documents are subject to certain conditions: [pdf]
- New library users have to fill in a registration form
- Food and drink are not allowed in the library
- Reference works, periodicals, rare books, dissertations etc. are not available for loan
- Period of loan: 28 days, renewable twice
- Number of items per loan: 15

WCC Archives at the Ecumenical Centre
- Consultation is following the Archives Rules (Febr. 2012) and is only upon written request and appointment.
- Access to archival documents is open after 20 years after the file is closed. In case of preponderant interests the embarfo period may be longer.
- Any user who asks for access to records during an embargo period is requested to submit a wirtten request to the archivists of WCC explaining the research purpose and specifying in as detailed and precise way as possible the records or documents whose disclosure he or she requests.
- Consultation takes place exclusively in the reading room.
- Ordering is limited to three units (boxes). For every unit must be filled out a order form.
- Using personal devices as cameras (without flash) is allowed, but needs authorization of the staff.
- Users are not allowed to access the repositories except accompanied by the staff or under explicite authorization.
- Consultation is free of charge. The archivists help and guide the user to start the search. Any other services carried out by the archivists, such as search and documentation on written requests and reproduction of documents, are subject to the search and reproduction fee as specified in the Archival Fee.

Researchers are kindly requested to read and follow the Archives Rules, fill in and sign the Archives Registration Form and send it two weeks in advance to your planned visit to archives@wcc-coe.org
