The WCC Library offers various electronic resources in the field of religious studies and ecumenical theology:Logo ATLASerials-Eresources

- ATLA Religion database with ATLASerials (via EBSCOhost)

- Religion and Philisophy collection (via EBSCOhost)

- Ebrary ebooks collectionlogo ebrary 033-e-resources

Some outstanding journals, which are not covered by ATLA and EBSCO databases, GlobeTheoLib, nor by the University of Geneva, are licensed individually (see E-journals)

These (commercial) resources are normally restricted exclusively to enrolled students of the Ecumenical Institute and WCC staff members.

However through GlobeTheoLib,Logo GlobeTheoLib-Eresources the WCC jointly with Globethics.net make freely available thousands of full text documents originating from the various Christian World Communions, including a growing number of resources with commercial content, e.g. reference works and journals in theology and ecumenism. GlobeTheoLib also depends on the support of many other contributing institutions, including the LWF, WCRC, and the Anglican Communion.

The WCC Library also offers "walk-in" access to the electronic resources of the University of Geneva, particularly to the students and faculty of the Ecumenical Institute, through a VPN connection.
